Kai has an interest to have many normal friends to compensate for all the wrong friends and Shiroki being positive could help Kai overcoming the changes he has to go through. Like someone to lean on, while Kai who is quite courageous and has some influence tries to make Shiroki´s hopes and dreams reality. Also, they are the same age, so maybe same class as well? If you ever need help with homework or learning for a test you can ask Kai, even though he will be so theoretical and detailed it may be worse than before.

They don't know each other that well, I think they should begin to get to know each other and become friends before our face off. In the beginning there are two young men in the library, one of them notices them reading. The quiet one notices that the one who had commented on his book, was the least likely. The social butterfly, and a bit of a troublemaker. I want them to have a lot of happen stacne interactions involving butterflies and carl jung conversations haha. I think they would actually get along, they have similar personalities and act on them differently. Before they pick sides, they should have a bit of the typical anime I barely know you thing going on kinda like how uhhmmm. Well basically becoming acquaintances with the enemy before you even know they are the enemy, very brief meetings and such then the confrontation in the channel.

I was thinking seeing Hanashi make the first move—to be friends, actually. Just like start up a random conversation with him, and find out what he likes and such! And probably after that random conversation, he seemed like an ok guy. And since she is known to be too stubborn for her own good, she kept at it and at it until they pretty much became friends? Since he is after all in the SEES, Hanashi thinks it’s best to be friends with everyone in it, instead of being enemies and such. I can see her sometimes pushing him into awkward conversations; to try make him a bit less socially awkward/ Even if it fails half the time. And maybe one time, she can be seen for once, quiet and reading and that could pretty much shock him that she likes reading as much as he does? Something like that.
