I could see them as friends and possibly lovers way later on, after the whole kidnapping and Genji gaining his persona. But that's kinda far off x3 So friends for now? I can see Genji flirt with Jouichi here and there too xD What do you think?

I can see that. There may be some conflict because Jouichi is going to be rescued by SEES. Which adds to more fun RP elements. This works.

Okay. Childhood friends and close friends? She can understand the fake friends. Since ever since she was young, she too had people try to befriend her for money. Maybe in the Younger Days, when she was more true to herself/way more cheerful, he used to beat up the bullies. So in a way, Jou could be an idol of hers. We can expand it gradually from there.

I like that idea. It sets the tone for him kicking the crap out of your step father as well. Jouichi still isn't adjusted with being a bit wealthy, so Asuka could help him with that.

Hmm, Akira has been in Shigayomi his whole life, so maybe he kind of knew Jouichi when they were little, but even if they were acquaintances when they were younger, I don't think Akira would go out of his way to befriend Jouichi now that he is back. But idk, if you have something good, let me know.

Jouichi's parents had a notorious reputation. Which may have automatically labeled him as a "bad kid" amongst average parents and children. Maybe they could even grow up to be enemies, or at least some borderline hostility. Which may itch Akira later having to save someone he doesn't particularly like. I don't know, whatever floats your boat dude.

That might work even better with an idea I had. I was thinking that if you want Jouichi to join Sephiroth, then maybe the Seph could defeat SEES and be the ones to rescue him.

He hates J-Pop, absolutely despises the genre of music and would rather see it burn to the ground. As he is the indie music guy he decides to take his qualms with Jouichi. Constantly judging him by the music he makes and considering it evil I would like to plot a misunderstanding hatred which grows into a friendship and then an enemy status again.

He actually played J-Rock, but I really like your idea. I could have him do the super poppy Visual Kei in the stylings of An Cafe. Yeah, that should work. Especially since he's joining Haruna's band, Shingo could be pissed that some J-Pop star suddenly emerged in his indie scene.
