GENERAL RULES
( just the basics. )
Welcome to CHASE THE TRUTH. We're all here to have fun and rp, so I'm not gonna bog you down with strict rules. We'll start off with just the general stuff.
The most important thing to any rp is respect. Please do not harass the staff or other members. On that note, please try keep the drama between the characters, not between you and the other members.
This is an Account-per-Character site. What that means is that you make a new account for each character you create. You can have as many characters as you want, just make sure you can handle all of them.
JOINING AND APPLICATION RULES
( getting started. )
You can register with whatever name you would like, but please change your display name to your characters name. Since we are an A-p-C site (as mentioned above), this makes it easier for us to know what character we're dealing with.
When you fill out the application, please fill it out as much as you can. You are allowed to fill it out either In-Character or from a Narrative perspective. I kindly ask that you do not change the application form. It has been made to look nice, and I would like it to stay that way.
If you post an unfinished application, please do so in the sub-forum made specifically for that purpose. After it's completed, reply to it, and the staff will get to it as soon as they can.
GRAPHICS RULES
( they make the board pretty. )
The maximum size for avatars is 100x100. You can go as small as you want to though, but for the sake of our eyes, you might not want to go smaller than the max.
The maximum width for signatures is 500, but you can do anything up to that you would like to. There is no maximum height, just don't make it ridiculously tall.
For images in posts, there is no maximum, but just check them and see if they break the board. Please don't break the board. If they do break the board, I'll have to remove them. Also keep in mind that no images or graphics should contain nudity, as it goes against the Proboards TOS.
CBOX RULES
( don't abuse it. )
The CBox is here for fun and convenience, Please DO NOT attack or impersonate other players, advertise, or spam. Well… please don't attack or impersonate other players anywhere on the board, but especially not in the chat box.
If you break a rule, you will be banned from the CBox for a small amount of time, and this amount of time will increase after each infraction. I don't want to do that to people, so please obey the rules.
ROLEPLAY RULES
( read them well. )
There is a 200 word count, but please don't feel pressured. The word count is there to motivate you to become a better writer and to push the story forward. Remember, there is always more you can write. I encourage all levels of role-players to join our game. Always try to use proper spelling and grammar. If you miss a typo or accidentally have two commas, that's fine. We all make mistakes, just try to do the best you can. Both first-person and third-person perspective are allowed. I want you to write however you feel comfortable. If you've read this, please put the word 'F-steak' in your application under password. Please keep the chat speak in the chat box and not in the role-play. Please no god-modding. Only keep what your character, and no one else's, is doing in your posts. Sex, violence and swearing are a part of real life, and they're a part of the world of Persona as well. Just try to keep it semi-realistic. This site has an RPG rating of L-2 S-2 V-2.
