The man took rather good care of his daughter. His name, Kyuuso Yui, was not known, but he was a good carpenter. At age five, she contracted a high fever. The fever and subsequent illness destroyed her sight. Her father blamed himself for it, and to this day works for an eye transplant. Tai becomes enchanted with music at age six, and her father lets her take lessons, as it keeps her connected to the world in a strong way. At age fourteen, Tai has her first eye surgery. The eyes are rejected due to her unusual bloodtype, even though it was a match. Tai continues on living. Due to the cost, her father is forced to prolong his retirement, and the possibility of a second operation is unthinkable. Tai moves out into the residency dorms of her school at age sixteen, her father finally deciding he should let her go, on the condition she takes a seeing eye dog with her. She meets her new companion, Desmond. Tai settles into routine, daily life, a rather normal student who has interests in cooking and music. Although you didnt put a great deal of detail i really like the sound of her ^_^ I like the idea of her being insightful when she can't see, it's something i find really interesting. Shes also obviously had to grow up faster, with a greater maturity to cope with how much more difficult simple everyday tasks would be~

It'd be nice to see a picture of her blind dog~ is there anyway you could find a nice sized picture of what you imagined he would look like?~
