PERSONALITY:
- Easygoing: Hiro rarely takes much seriously unless it is mandatory in terms of his attention. He spends hours of his time staring at clouds or at a river and not move except for a few drowsy yawns. He appears to give off a feeling that makes you sleepy, but at the same time, sends chills down your back.
- Truthful: Honestly, he has nothing to lie about. About a hundred families must have walked by while he was watching grass grow, so he he's never questioned in court about an alibi.
- Artistic: Hiro draws, writes, reads, knits, paints, cleans, cooks, and practically fits every requirement for a housewife. But it's one of the only facts he takes personally, so whenever it's mentioned, please don't use the word. He might break into tears.
- Hard-Working: He loathes work that's too strenuous, but it's mostly a comical act, and when he sets his mind to it, he really works miracles. He once took a fellow student's ripped up homework and made origami out of it. That child got an A+.
- Simple: Hiro is, to say, altered. He doesn't like to stay inside all day or anything like that unless it's on the edge of his balcony or something. He enjoys the smaller pleasures in life like the sound of rustling leaves or dripping lakewater. Philosophic, he is.
NEGATIVE
[/li][li] Clumsy: Put a rock in front of him and the goddess of fortune says he'll trip over it.
[/li][li] Greedy: Not so much in his personality, but he eats a ton. Although most of the time it's passable seeing his thin stature.
[/li][li] Naive: Hiro is often slow to catch up where it doesn't concern academic work. Sometimes, if a person is REALLY obvious, he'll know, but besides, he's a solitary little soldier.
[/li][li] Quiet: Even though he's easy to get along with, he doesn't normally reach out too much, which is why some people view him as unsociable or anti-social.
[/li][li] Timid, Shy: Hiro often has to work up courage to say even "hello" to someone who looks intimidating. He doesn't have the same problem with girls or people his age ( and younger ).

[/li][li] Scary: Even though he gives off a regularly easygoing and friendly glance, many say there's something off about him. True friends wouldn't mind it, but his presence gives off a dank and depressing feel. This might be because he is a member of the Death Arcana, but it could be just him as well.

BACKGROUND:
Alice is said to be based off of Lewis Carroll's character from his famous story Alice In Wonderland. The Shin Megami Tensei Alice shares many physical similarities with the character, most notably the blue dress and the blond hair. Also, her signature move "Die For Me!" seems to draw inspiration from the book. Furthermore, her Shin Megami Tensei: IMAGINE attack, "Mad Tea Party", takes further inspiration from the book as it references the chapter in which the protagonist met the Mad Hatter and March Hare.
However, some say that she is also based off of a myth of an Aryan girl who died at a young age. When Alice died and became a spirit, she gained extreme magical power that drove her insane. Alice was used to scare Scandinavian children into behaving, or else Alice would visit them at night and kill them so that she may become "friends" with them. Due to the overwhelming support of both theories, it is easy to assume both are valid and that she is a hybrid of both figures. That both are valid seems to be the cause thought, since Strange Journey Compendium hints at both.
