THE PLOT
( where our story begins. )
It's been a little over a year since the Investigation team discovered the truth behind the murders in Inaba and defeated Izanami. Things in the world have been relatively peaceful since, at least in realm of Shadows and Personas. But recently, people have been disappearing from a town called Shigayomi, located in Okinawa prefecture. No one knows where they've disappeared to, who or what it is that's taking them, or if they are even alive, and everyone in town is scared to death that they will be next.
However, there are those who will chase the truth. A select group of teenagers received an email leading them to a strange site, requesting that they meet at a certain place and time. They find that they have been enlisted to join a club, the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, otherwise known as SEES, by a odd new teacher. What they don't know is that they're about to embark on a journey that will lead them to places they would never dream of.
Recently there has been been a rumor circulated that a light can be seen flowing from the mausoleum at Koganehara Cemetery, but strangely enough, no one can open it. In truth, the mausoleum has become a gateway to the Abyss, a massive dungeon that descends into the earth, and it is unknown in origin. But shadows lurk there, and that is never a good sign. The chasers of truth will delve into the Abyss in order to find those who have been taken, and to find their true selves.
