You can smell dinner being prepared, but there is still time before it's ready. You decide to get on your computer and check your email. Your room is dark, a slight crack in the curtains allowing just enough light in for you to be able to see. You sit down at your desk and turn on your computer. The system hums as it warms up, and the familiar start-up noise informs you that it is ready to be used. You click the email icon on your desktop, and up pops your inbox. "You have 2 new messages." One is another one of those ridiculous chain emails, you recognize the email address as a friends, and decide to save it for latter. The other message is a bit more mysterious. It's from [e-mail], an address you don't recognize. It's ominously titled 'Chase the Truth.' You open the message, but mysteriously, there is nothing but a link. www.entertheabyss.com. You cautiously click on the link, and after a few moments of waiting, the page loads. It's fully black, with only a white text field in the middle. You press enter, and it prompts you to enter a password. After a minute of thinking it over, you decide to enter the only thing you had to go on. You type the words Chase the Truth in the field and press enter. The new page is almost as empty as the first. In large print in the middle it says '3/24/2013.' Just above it, it says 'Will you chase the truth?,' and below the date it reads 'Meet me at Cafe Kohii at 2 pm, at the back left corner table. Be prompt.' You wondered what this was. Was it some sort of prank? You decided that there would be no harm in checking it out, it was a public place after all. From the scents that drifted to your nose, you figured that dinner was done. You logged out of your email, and walked out of your room, contemplating what exactly was waiting for you next week in that cafe. Go ahead and reply to this thread having your character receive the e-mail.

Kyo was recently closing a case on a rapist. It really didn't take long for the whole case itself but it was rather disturbing. Personally he wanted to forget to details and just get home already. Currently he was driving on his way to the residential district in which he lived in. It was quiet which was normal but hey at least he wouldn't have to get out of his car because someone decided to be a trouble maker. It didn't take long to reach home and find a parking space. He'd make sure the car was locked up tight. Now making his way up the stairs to his door Kyo would fumble into his pocket for his keys. Got it! He'd open the door turning on the lights to reveal his tidy apartment. You'd expect a young detective's apartment to be rather messy filled with cigarettes and beer cans but not Kyosuke. What Kyo really wanted to do was go take a shower and sleep but he needed to check his emails. So with a slight sigh he'd sit down in his living room couch and he'd open his laptop which was left on the seat beside him. "Stand-by" Kyo muttered as he watched the computer powered up. With a quick input of the password Kyo was brought to the desktop. He had a desktop email alert program and he saw that he had a few new emails. One was from the PD, the others were from family plus a chain mail that he save for later and one was titled 'Chase the Truth'. "Chase the Truth? Hmm lets see. Kyo clicked the link email. Just a link....he'd click that too. Black page white text field, it must want a password. Ah...hmm what could possibly...Kyo would type 'Chase the Truth.' Just like that a new page opened up with a time and location. Whoa what in the hell could this possible mean? Well he could easily have the PD track the email address but he felt like having a hands on approach. He'd probably look for a spot to stake out the table to see who arrives. If it's a child molester well then he just got a bust, if not...what in the hell was this truth anyway? He'd close the laptop getting and heading towards the shower. Hmm perhaps he'd order some food and go sleep or if he didn't feel too tired after the shower he could go to the bar.
