[/b], silver-tongued charmer and while she might not be able to sell ice to an Eskimo, she does well enough convincing high schoolers to pay exorbitant amounts of money (for a highschooler) for stuff they may not really need. She’s a hard worker when it comes to topics and things which interest her, and an observant girl with a sharp eye (and ear) for secrets and other interesting tidbits about people. An overachiever since young, she has a bit of a competitive streak, and is selectively loyal to those few she deems her closest friends and confidants. Jingjing is witty, intelligent, reasonably streetwise (again, for a highscooler) and often appears to be outgoing and sociable.

On the other hand, Jingjing can also be stubborn, hard-headed and a rather cunning opportunist. She is more interested in supply and demand, not so interested in right and wrong, and as such has few qualms procuring items of a more… questionable nature. However, as morally ambiguous as she is, Jingjing does draw the line at selling anything which may be used to hurt and/or exploit others. Though she tries her best to hide it, she is proud and self-centered. A quality she is not so ashamed of, however, is being known as nosy. (because hey, any publicity is good publicity.) Although she excels at getting others to open up to her, she is someone who keeps her problems to herself, buried beneath an easy smile.[/ul]

BACKGROUND:

[/b], a Chinese deity who is often depicted as a youth flying in the sky, riding on the Wind Fire Wheels with a golden hoop around his body, a red sash around his shoulder and a Fire Spear in his right hand.
Nezha was born during the Shang Dynasty in a military fortress at Chentang Pass. His father was a military commander named Li Jing. Nezha's mother, Lady Yin, gave birth to a ball of flesh after being pregnant with him for three years and six months. Thinking that his wife had given birth to a demon, Li Jing attacked the ball with his sword. The ball split open and Nezha jumped out as a boy instead of an infant. Supernaturally precocious, Nezha could speak and walk immediately after birth. He grew into a willful brat, who often did as he pleased.

One day, while playing near the sea, Nezha fought and killed Ao Bing, the third son of the East Sea Dragon King Ao Guang. Ao Guang called for his brothers and confronted Nezha and his family. He threatened to flood Chentang Pass and report Nezha to the Jade Emperor. To save his family, Nezha flayed and disemboweled himself to return his body to his parents. The Dragon Kings were moved by his filial piety and spared his family. Nezha was later brought back to life by his teacher, Taiyi Zhenren, who used lotus roots to construct a human body for his soul.

However, after reincarnation, he had a rocky relationship with his father due to many misunderstandings, and they battled often. Only after the timely intervention of the immortal Randeng Daoren, was the relationship between father and son finally mended.

The similarities between Nezha and Jingjing stem from them being naturally gifted in certain ways. As such, both harbor a great deal of pride, and think themselves superior to their peers. Unlike Nezha however, Jingjing at least has the good sense to keep such thoughts to herself. Secondly, although both of them have splintered relationships within their families, a part of them still hopes for reconciliation. Finally, they both have fearless attitudes towards life and can be very insistent on getting their way.[/ul]
