He is a bit of a danger prone child, has been ever since he was little. He doesn't really try to get into trouble, he's just smiling all the time, and tends to get into things he doesn't really think about. Some say it's cause he's way too nice to say no to anyone, and likes having friends. He tends to be known as a bit of a trouble maker, but only when he gets bored, since he doesn't exactly have one of those really long attention spans. He can barely sit still as it is, he is more the outdoors type. He is just sweet and tries to care about everyone else over himself, it's just how it is and well even if he hates to admit he is not able to get mad usually at anyone. Well unless they say something bad about his family, then he gets mad and it seems like his personality does a complete turn around to something else. He only has a few times where he loses it and he tries to make sure he is alone when it happens. He does not want people to see that side of him, it is his business and no one elses. Or at least he thinks that way most of the time. Give Zarek sugar and he'll be bouncing off the walls just to make people happy and yet there is nothing he wants more to do then protect his family even if he has to die to do such a thing. Zarek has a typical brave and heroic personality, meaning he'll willingly risk his life, even for people he doesn't even know yet. He's extremely loyal to his friends, and has been shown to be extremely forgiving to people. He constantly thinks positive and is therefore highly optimistic. Zarek is an upbeat person, and although he is simple minded at times, he has a strong sense of justice. He seems a bit more serious now that he has "matured" well some what anyway. His level of confidence isn't that strong, but he can been known to take charge when it's needed. He is also quite caring and reassuring. Any problems he has he keeps hidden underneath a hyper, slightly random persona. He's always trying to laugh and smile so no one knows what is wrong underneath the surface. The boy doesn't want to taint anyone with the problems that surround him nor does he want to get them involved. He is a bit of a klutz, burning himself, tripping those kind of things that get him called fool at the school. But his grandfather was suddenly really sick, and his mother was never home anymore. The kid was always left with his father or fending for himself with the babysitter. It went like this where he'd visit his mother and grandfather on the weekends, that is until the weekend before his Grandfather's birthday. The kid was heading out there a little early because well his father had to go on some sort of business trip, since he was one of those famous photographer people that were always being called out of the state and even out of the country to work. That was one of the first times he was let on a train by himself, he had his father's other phone with him. And well he also didn't mention to his mother that he wasn't exactly alone, the babysitter was taking him there as she always did then she'd go on her way to visit her family. He was dropped off at the house, only to be told his mother had taken his grandfather to the hospital, and he was to wait at the house for them. The boy did just that, and had fallen asleep. As he was sleeping he felt a hand touch his forehead, but he didn't do much other then turn around. The kid woke up the next morning, and was looking at his mother who had gotten home in the middle of the night. She said his grandfather had passed just a few hours ago. The boy didn't really know what to think or say, he just smiled and was like Grandpa will be coming back again! We'll see him again! and that was that with him, he wasn't any different even after his grandfather died. As he got older, he saw things that were a bit hard for him to explain. Around the time he was eight, the kid was climbing a tree near the river and he fell in, he was not sure what had happened. But he had awoken in his bed, only to be told some blonde man brought him home. Nothing really happened between this time, and the time he turned eleven, his father was hardly home as it was, and his mother was trying to keep the house clean and the family together as always. His father did come back though, and had brought a young child who seemed to be only a year older then Zarek. He didn't know who the boy was, but the blonde hair stuck out to him. Not that he much he wanted to remember, that man with the blonde hair who had saved him seemed to pop into his mind. The kid bounced around his older brother, and just would cling to him from that day on. Zarek had been walking home with his older brother from school, when a dog tried to pounce on Zarek, it was not one of those good dogs. It was trying to bite him, his brother stopped the dog, but ended up getting hurt in the process. Zarek started to train from that day onwards to be able to protect his big brother and never let him get another scar because of him. The young boy didn't want to lose anyone else, if only he had known he was going to. Around that time, small changes were noticed in his family, his mother and father had distanced from each other. And then one night just like that she was gone, she had left both kids there with the babysitter and that was that. Zarek being a bit too oblivious to the strain between his parents didn't know what to do. He just thought it was his fault, like he had done something wrong...because he should have noticed maybe. His father hasn't gotten remarried yet, but he's always distracted with work as of lately, leaving the two boys to fend for themselves. It was that way through most of highschool, he was always one step behind his brother. Just in age, height and a few other things, actually he was way shorter then his older brother. Zarek's grades started to slip when he got into his last year of highschool, and he was spending most of his late nights up trying to get them up without asking any help. After graduating he went off to college, following in his older brother's footsteps only to pick to work with the Police as he was getting his doctor's degrees. At that same time he was working on his art, stalking behind his brother. He promised his father when he went back overseas that he would keep an eye on him.
