His sunglasses helped block out the blazing sun from his gaze, but it was still hard to see the grassy path in front of him. It was so different when you compared it to the normal gloom of English weather, not that it was bad. Meant he could enjoy being outside a little. It also meant he didn't have to drag Kaya out of the house, instead she practically begged for walks. She was almost scarily intelligent for a dog, but he had known that when he had picked her out. Glancing down at her, it was strange thinking how much she had changed since he'd got her from the animal shelter. Vince went back to looking at the path in front of them. He soon reached the fountain in the center of the park, and sat down on the benches. Kaya looked up at him, eyes sparkling as she went to jump onto the bench next to him. She did stop when he put out a hand on the seat, signaling not to get up " I don't think so you, seats are for people, and you never know. May end up with company that gives you the fuss you know you want ," Vincent said with a grin at his Jindo dog. She was only a couple of years old, but she had already learned to look after and annoy him. She let out a doggish huff before curling up on the ground, watching the people that were wandering around the park as well, Vince doing practically the same. Vincent quickly pulled a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it, his normal method of relaxing. Why was it he had to ruin his exercise with his only bad habit. Well, one of them. Combined with compulsive flirting. That normally lead to something much more of a work out than just walking Kaya. He loved his dog, he really did. One of those few consistencies in his life. Hell, half the time he treated her more like a member of family than a pet. Hell, she even acted more like family than a pet. She sat on furniture like family should. [/style] |
