He's indifferent when you first meet him. Guy tsunderes are more fun than chick tsunderes, because they are a speciality item. Introducing himself isn't really his thing, but he'll probably help you clean up after clubs, hold the door when your leg's broken or tutor you if you asked. (And he wasn't busy.) All and all, he won't be cruel or spread rumors about you—he might even be one of the nicer people you know, once you get past the surface!surly nature. At least with unfamiliar people, anyway. Otherwise he talks too much, has a pretty good sense of humor, doesn't judge on appearances and is refreshingly honest. Oh, and he likes rivalries. (The fact they are usually one-sided doesn't bother him.) What he thinks and feels are pretty much in sync with what he says and does—he's on a heart-on-your-sleeve kind of guy. Getting him out of his shell might be difficult, since he rather likes it there, but not impossible. He's pretty much laid-back, but maybe you got the brunt of one of his sarcastic remarks? Insulted one of his friends enough to get him angry? You two just mutually piss each other off? And then there's always his sometimes arrogant, know-it-all attitude. Since he's fairly to the point, if it was a guy, then they might have ended up in a fist fight somewhere down the line. He will typically leave girls alone, but isn't above telling them off if they toe the line one too many times. Being shy, he's not always fantastic at conveying what he means, and might think she/he/it/whatever would be better off not bothering with him anyway. His usual confidence fails him here, and he likes to brush this kind of stuff off as not being important to him anyway. Interestingly enough, he nonetheless has lots of crushes on different people. . . . Either way, if you sit around waiting for him to make the first move, you'll be sitting forever.
