He is a bit curious about many things, and will often stick his nose into things that don't really concern him. Question after question about something isn't uncommon, though he will back down and not ask again should someone just say so. Despite his talkative attitude he does respect personal space. That, however, won't stop him from trying to learn all that he can about someone through other means. Elias is big on information, and using that information to his own advantage, whether that be for the family or his own personal gain.
Most everything is 'scratch my back and I scratch yours' for him. Elias refuses to do favors for anyone unless there's something in it for him, though he never asks for more than what the favor is worth. He's a strong believer in fair trade, and, in an indirect sense, karma. What goes around comes around, and he lives each day like his bad deeds are going to come and bite him in the ass at any moment. As such, he refuses to hold back in any sense of the word, being very straightforward with his words and using all his strength in any fight. Elias does like to toy around, though, and never outwardly seems to take anything seriously.
Logic rules over emotions for Elias, which is why he loves having information. He weighs the pros and cons before making any sort of decision and follows what he knows over gut feeling and his mood at the time. Because of such he's grown to be able to control his emotions. Even when pissed off and ready to beat the crap out of someone he'd threaten them with a calm smile on his face and assess the situation beforehand. Though, he does have a short temper. When feeling insulted and looked down upon Elias is quick to defend himself with insults, challenges, and threats, however he will rarely get into a physical fight he cannot win.
Despite all this, he treats everything with a sort of neutrality, never liking nor disliking something until knowing the facts. Even then, people are kept at a sort of distance. Elias never gives out his loyalty to those who haven't deserved it. He'll do whatever it takes to keep a promise, but he'll never risk his own life or safety for anything.[/ul]
