If he was told that he was a wizard, he would ask which house he would be sorted into. He wasn't naive however ( as if he thought there was actually a difference between adaptive and that ), and the recent goings on that included the speech and the chatter of the others brought him to an undefined suspicion. He was wearing what he usually wore on an average day - black turtleneck, red jeans, and a pair of the most peculiar headphones that didn't play music of a specific order or genre. He sat somewhere slightly off to the group, so that he might be mistaken as a simple customer of the shop while listening in. He brought a cheap energy drink and a book to make it seem like he was doing something. He wasn't particularly embarrassed to show himself nor be with these people, who looked like good people, but he wanted to make sure of what he was involving himself in before he really got in. The headphone's helped too, though, the dull green of the mp3 monitor stayed as dull, docile, and activity-less as ever. He nearly snorted his drink onto the book he was reading blankly. It wasn't a laugh, more like what would have been a small gasp or yelp. The disappearances. He passed off this as a coughing fit. The speech and chatter followed on. Eventually, it ended, and the man left. Hiro followed him with his eyes. What on earth did he know about the disappearances - about the victims, and this "ability" to save them? It was too suspicious. Hiro snapped his book shut and slumped into a more comfortable position in his chair, and looked to the barren ceiling. "My, doesn't that sound exciting?" Hiro said to nobody in particular. His voice was slightly slurred around the edges and had a seductive and hollow feel to it, though, Hiro himself wasn't looking very seductive. On the contrary, he looked pretty neutral, but ever since youth, he had an uncanny habit to creep others out, even when he was kind. People said he gave off a depressing atmosphere, and Hiro had to say, it was pretty easy to do so. And just like that, Hero shoved the docile book into his messenger bag and got up to lazily toss his half-full drink into a wastebasket.
