Though most of her free time consists of sleeping, playing some beats, sleeping, reading something just for the heck of it, sleeping and- you've guess it!- sleeping, there doesn't seem to be anything else that pique her interest as of late, but Haruna doesn't seem to be too bothered about it. Instead, she let things go on its natural pace, hoping that there would be something good that comes out with whatever she's doing. It was natural for her to just let things go instead of forcing herself into it, though it's safe to say it tends to become unhealthy for her to just rely on the flow than otherwise.
However, since it's a free day after class (no band practice or anything) and she got some time to kill, Haruna decided to stop by at the Suijin shrine to cool off and probably spend the rest of the afternoon doing whatever she wanted to do before heading home. Most probably she would be seen doing a little prayer for a bit before sitting on the chair, studying a bit or eating her ever-so favorite treat she never leaves home without, which is the pocky.
"Ah, I think I forgot my notes back at school."
Shuffling her things inside the bag, a sigh escaped her mouth as she noticed that one of her notebooks were missing before she recalled that one of her classmates borrowed it and forgot to return the item. It was something she's frustrated with from time to time, though she tends to be cool about it just to show she's not much bothered with petty things but it tends to unnerve her at times that people take her placid nature for granted. Maybe if she were a little bit outspoken instead of just let things be, she could have gotten the notebook in the first place.
"Now how am I suppose to do my homework now?" Haruna groaned, a small frown appearing on her face. "Maybe I could ask my classmates later or tomorrow if I can borrow their notes or something." Technically, it's just some normal day for her.
note; Here you go, Haruna forgot her notebook and all. Too bad he has to be evil when he awakens his Persona. ='D word count; 350

Losing himself in the music he was listening it was more so one of those days to just wander, and think way to damn much. He more often than not found himself doing that. He really couldn't help it though, it tended to be the nature of his core. He was a dreamer, and very well with it during the day. It was almost like he had to think in pictures, so when he was thinking people thought they where losing him in deep thought. In truth that's not what it was. He loved to block things out, to avoid the issues at hand other than his own. He enjoyed dealing with himself in the personal confines of his mind. He preferred it over being bothered with the issues of others. He went to and fro from this idea of a happy kid to someone who had nothing to do with himself.
He had in truth no idea who he was or why he was here. What was he to accomplish throughout the day? More so than not it was tackling everything and leaving it to naught. A master of none, his time, his control. He had no understanding of it. So in this day he had let the road be his guide. It seemed a lot easier than having a plan. He was going to study, though he had not a single idea where, what, or why. He was just going to read something. He lost himself in thought yet again, thinking of his recent encounters, and what may change about him this year. He also wondered what the day had in store for him. School seemed to be very dull, more so than usual. No homework to distract him, he decided to let himself go. He was still in his uniform, and decided to take the shrine pathway, it wasn't more so he decided, it was that he never came here. He wasn't much for being religious and the shrine was the last place you would normally catch him, it seemed appropriate for the day.
He noticed another would beat him to the spot. She seemed in a panic. "Haruna?" he said to himself. Approaching he realized it was her. She was a bit of an odd duck in his eyes, she was different from a lot of the girls. She liked music, he had no idea what kind, though they often got along. Music never really was the subject, she would ask him about skateboarding though, most encounters where often between one another about jokes or childish flirting which involved pushing and the regular stuff. "So you decided to follow me here 'eh?" he stated sarcastically though with a sense of humor. "No band practice today?" He was never one for prying about that but, today seemed like the day as he had a pretty catchy tune on his head phones. [/style] |

"Ah, where is it?"
Without the notebook, the female could have swore she'll cram the whole thing first thing in the morning as soon as she reach the school before classes starts, and the last thing she needed is actually just that. Cramming. The last thing on earth that she needed to do is cramming and she knows herself too well on how would she react on such atrocious actions at the point of acting completely different from the normal, cool self that she is. It won't just do, she sighed, feigning defeat on looking for her notebook as she, instead, decided to just doze off for a few minutes in this place.
"Hn?"
Just as she was about to nod off into her daily dosage of cat naps, she looked up at the person who spoke her name as she gave a wry smile at the class representative, Shingo, and gave a friendly wave. "Maybe?" She replied with a sheepish grin, straightening herself once more to make her not look disinterest. Shingo has been a close friend of hers ever since before they became high school, meeting in a concert on a fateful day, and though he is more of a responsible and charismatic lad and she is merely a student following the officer and all, the two have something in common which makes her feel quite happy about it. He's also pretty much the saner one out of the class that thinks of her as someone cool, and from her circle of friends that tends to be a little bit on the wild side and all, so he's like a breather to her as he is a reliable comrade.
"Nada," Haruna replied with another wave, gesturing him to sit down as to not get tired of standing up. "Two of the members are studying for college midterms and our leader said he'll be out of town- but he'll be back before Saturday- so I'm pretty much free for the rest of the week." She stated, stretching her arms nonchalantly before scratching the back of her head. "And how about you, what brings you here?" Of course, she doesn't mind if he answers it or not, it's probably something she need to think about asides cramming her way tomorrow.... unless-
"By the way, you still got notes from the lesson a while ago, a classmate of mine kinda forgot to return my notebook with those notes."
A short chuckle tells otherwise that she was a bit too shy laid back to even ask someone if they could return her notebook, thinking that they might just return it to her after they are done.

It was as if he was hearing everything she was saying though, there was a certain level of regard he took to his thoughts. It was strange how upbeat here everyone seemed, all friendly personalities though these where also the people who had picked on his good friends or performed acts against themselves when the time came to meet a social status quot. Haruna was different, she was one of the odd ones, though everyone seemed to like her band, Shingo had never heard them before. To everyone's surprise actually. Scratching his head slightly he had taken in all the words, there wasn't much to respond to though the comment on the band was quite funny, she was so young. Compared to the rest of them though, it was one of those moments where age seemed to be a factor in multiple awkward situations.
"Well you just happen to be pretty lucky to just mosey your way into a lazy day." There was never really a reason behind him befriending her, maybe it was fate. Though she always seemed very fortunate, a certain air of luck behind everything she has done. "Ah well nothing, I guess a more scenic route if that makes any sense at all....It gets boring in small places like this to walk the same route." Shingo never really took notice to it, though there were moments where maybe he was the lucky one to have made a good friend, though there was change in the air he couldn't quite put his finger on it though. Scratching the side of his nose he raised a brow, oh the notes...asking if Shingo had them is kind of a joke, he was the class two rep.
Reaching into his back pack "Again, you must be a very lucky lady, Haruna." He placed them next to her "You can use them to study...I really don't have a need for 'em just make sure I get it back." He took a seat with her, it was always a joy to just sit and watch. To just learn things, though never mastering them. He looked to Haruna and raised his brow "You know, you feel like this years gonna be pretty exciting? Considering we have different classmates returning and such." It was always good to see new people, though he felt a different kind of change, a cloud which hung over the students and the towns residence. [/style] |

Another sheepish chuckle escaped her lips at the familiar words that came out from Shingo. Luck seems to be the common thing they can get on her these days, though she wouldn't call most of the good things as luck. Then again, maybe she's just born with a silver spoon on her mouth, or something similar. Nevertheless, it was more of a 'divine intervention' than coincidence, but she could be wrong.
"Maybe," Haruna chuckled, waving her hand a bit. "Could have swore someone must be favoring me from up there." She added as a joke, looking up to the sky for emphasis on the 'someone' part. Yes, it was a big wonder as of why, but there's no complaints in there. Nope, not at all.
A small 'ah' was heard from her while she clapped her hands together in realization, forgetting that this is a public place after all. Then again, she seems a tad oblivious to everything when she dozes off, so you can't blame her much. "It's not so bad," The raven-haired teen mused, looking at the scenery as she gave a small hum of approval. "Compared to Tokyo, this place seems peaceful. Must be the reason my parents decided to live here," She said while lifting her hand and waving a finger at the thought. "Though you got a point somewhere, since you've been here longer than I, it seems." She added as an afterthought.
"Oh, you're a lifesaver as always~"
Picking up the notebook that Shingo handed, Haruna was grateful that he was kind enough to lend her the notes from the lesson. No more cramming, she thought with a delight, as she flipped the pages and- as expected for their Class Representative- saw the notes that she needed to review and work on with. Definitely her lucky day, as the male told her.
"Hm?"
Just as she was about to place the notebook to the bag and tell him that she'll return them first thing in the morning, Shingo asked one of the oddest question that she have her so far. Tilting her head a bit and blinking at the sudden question, the female couldn't decipher what reason he asked it or on what accord, but it seems this must be something worth thinking about. Sounds harmless to some, but it do kind of have a ring on it somehow.
Somehow.
"I... don't know...." She paused, musing once more at the question as if taking a deep thought out of it. "Perhaps," Haruna added, scratching the nape of her neck at the thought. "Maybe a hutch, but if there's something interesting, it might be for our benefit." She mused once more. "Who knows? It might change our insights to the world or something along those lines...."
