 | Railey bounced along, he was starving having not eaten earlier. He had gotten distracted by a good book, then playing a game of soccer with some of the local kids. His stomach growled, as he dug into his pocket for his money, he had remembered to bring it with him this time. And not lose it, he didn't need to get into trouble because he lost it. That was the last thing, specially with his father gone right now. It was just him and his brother, as it had been for awhile now. He wouldn't complain as he shook his head, taking in the scents of the food. 'So hungry....should have eaten before I left the house...' He wanted to eat now, since well he wouldn't be going back home for awhile now. He swerved to avoid a person, finding a place to sit. He patted his bag making sure everything was still there. Railey wouldn't lose anything, not out here. He was just being cautious after his meeting with that one person. It had gone well, but then at the same time he wasn't that happy about it. The boy thought he might have gotten a new friend out of that conversation. Even if he wasn't all that smart, and yet he knew what he wanted. There was just a few things he had to work on first. And getting his grades up was one of those things, he had done okay on his test again. As he ordered something, he dug into his back pack to pull out his homework. He might as well finish here, before he went back home. That way he didn't have to hear how he wasn't trying hard enough or something."Thanks..."He muttered as the food was placed in front of him, he was starving and yet he knew he had to take it easy and not rush through it. |
