Welcome to the Velvet Room! You are sitting in a blue velvet room. A mysterious man with a long nose sits before you. You appear to be in the cabin of a small boat, floating on an ominous river covered in mist. You will soon form a contract, and the residents of this Velvet Room will help you on your journey. Remember to pay the Ferryman!

Back room? What are you talking about, we don't have a back room. Do we have a back room? Nope, I didn't think so.

The front gates of Shigayomi High School. From here, you can see the Southern and Eastern halls jutting out from the center. The area is nicely kept, with a flower garden on either side of the gates. There are several bike racks, benches, and picnic tables, serving as an outdoor lunch area. Straight ahead are the front doors, which are under a large glass window, allowing a view of the inside.

The student's shoe lockers are located right inside the front doors. Past the shoe lockers is are the entrances to the ground floors of both wings. The stairs is located past that, leading up to the other floors and the roof, with balconies overlooking the shoe lockers.

The Southern Hall extends from the entrance heading south. It is three stories tall, consisting of two floors of classrooms and one floor for clubs.

The Gymnasium is located behind the Southern hall. As well as being used for indoor sports, it also serves as an auditorium. There are Boy's and Girl's locker rooms. It is used by the Basketball team and Kendo club.

A Multi-purpose field with a track surrounding it. It is used for Soccer, Baseball, and Track. It is located behind the Eastern hall.

Named for the god Susanoo, the Susa Dorm is an apartment-style Dorm for students attending Shigayomi Highschool.

Literally Fountain Park, the park is fairly large, with green fields, a playground, and a large fountain shooting up out of a pond.

The houses and apartments of the citizens of Shigayomi. This is where they come home to after a long day of being out and about.

Everyday's great at your Junes! The local Junes moved in about two years ago, but managed to strike a balance with the local family owned businesses. This is where most people come to do most of their shopping nowadays.

Cafe Kohii, meaning Cafe Coffee, is a small tea and coffee shop. It's a popular hang out for students and adults alike.

Translating to Club Burn, this place is hot. The DJ blasts music until dawn, the dance floor filled with party animals and guys looking to get lucky. 18 and over only, except Saturdays, which is teen night. Then it's 13-17 only.

The store sells lots of different models and tools, as well as a large selection of board games and Pen&Paper RPGs. Unfortunately, business has been rough, with not as many kids interested in those things these days.

The local bookstore. It's recently under new ownership, which has surprisingly brought in many customers. You can buy books and manga here.

A classic arcade, Game Panic has several retro and modern arcade games. It's popular mainly among students.

The town's movie theater. The old theater was bought by a chain, and subsequently torn down and rebuilt. The new theater just opened recently.

A ramen and meat bowl restaurant, they offer all you can eat deals, which makes them popular amongst the cheap and hungry.

A small general store that also supplies medicine. It's the place to go for the older women. This is where they gather and gossip.

The local metal works shop. The blacksmith here also creates weapons and armor on the side, as art and collection pieces, but he's pretty sure the kids that are buying them are using them for something.

A small shrine located on a dock stretching out into the bay, this shrine was built to Suijin, the Shinto god of water.

Meaning Freeze bar, it is the opposite of Club Kashou. This bar is cool and relaxed. It is a traditional bar, with games of billiards and darts. 18 and over only.

A traditional karaoke place, people come here and rent rooms with their friends, and sing their hearts out. If you're lucky, you'll get a wink from the beautiful attendant.

A small sushi place on the end of a dock, it only seats about twelve, but it's well worth the wait to get in.

A formal restaurant at the end of the boardwalk. The name means Deep Blue. Appropriately, they serve mostly seafood.

On the end of a small dock sits Old Man Yasunobu, fishing all day. If you ask him nicely, he'll sell you bait and rent you fishing poles

The headquarters of the Police. This is where they analyze evidence, and contemplate clues and evidence.

The local hospital. The doctors and nurses here haven't found themselves very busy lately, which they consider a good thing. It's about to change though.

The port sits at the mouth of the bay, and it welcomes boats to Shigayomi. It's connected to the town by a dock that stretches along the southern end of the bay.

The marina sits next to the East Shopping District on the northern shore of the bay. It is filled with small fishing boats.

The Kaneko Inn is a tourist attraction. It is a highly rated beach-front resort, with man made hot spring baths. Recently, the manager has gone missing, so her son has taken over as the new manager.

The beach itself is fairly popular. It has fine white sand, and the ocean is clear with no sharp stones. In the summer, families spend the day here together, cracking open watermelons and enjoying the cool ocean.

Forgot your watermelon? No problem, you can get another one here. They also serve other snacks and drinks. Only open in the summer.

A green field filled with headstones. There is nearly no room left. Generations of Shigayomi citizens are buried here. Have you come to visit a deceased relative? Or are you her for the Abyss?

At night, the mausoleum shines with a bright light, but it can't be opened, unless you've been given the ability to enter the Abyss. In here lies darkness, with Shadows lurking in every corner
